I know 2011 is going to be a great year. How can it not be. I get to go meet my dear daughter. I haven't stopped thinking about Lily since I've received the news. I signed all of the acceptance papers and sent a care package thru an organization called Red Thread. I am hoping once they deliver it, they might be able to send me some updated pictures of Lily. In the package I included some family pictures and hopefully her caretakers at the orphanage will show them to her so she can at least recognize me a little bit when I meet her. Ann at Red Thread has been awesome to deal with. Hopefully I will get travel dates soon.Cutie Pie!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

ReplyDeleteWe'd bought a set of photos at the office where the adoption was made official (City Hall in Chongqing), and to our great surprise, in addition to the photos taken that day, the day after we met Savannah, we got 3 photos of a younger Savannah as well. Every li'l bit counts!
