We have a few things to update you since our last posting.
We Girls are on the move!!
After an extensive search of one day, we have found ourselves a new home. It was a fluke that we (well Aunt Rebecca) found it as we we're even looking but it's in a neighborhood that we had looked at before and there was an open house. We went to see it and three days later we had bought the new house and sold our old one. It was quite a whirlwind but we are very excited and can't wait to get into the new place at the end of June.
One of the best parts about this new place is that it's within walking distance to Lily's daycare/school and will take 40 minutes off our daily commute. Whoo Hoo!! Maman is thrilled about that.
So since then we have spent most of our free time packing, packing and guess what, packing! We've made good progress but still have much to do. It's amazing how much stuff one accumulates after 12 years and the Goodwill Store knows us by name we've made so many drop-offs in the last few weeks. Pay it forward!!
This past weekend, we did no packing. Noncle and Tante made a surprise stop on their way to Paris. Lucky people!! so we got to visit with them for a day and then yesterday, Lily had the honour of being a flower girl at Amanda and Justin's wedding. She looked beautiful, performed her flower girl duties like a big girl and charmed all the boys. She is definitely my daughter because we couldn't get her off the dance floor once the music started. She had a blast and so did Maman.
Congratulations Amanda and Justin!! Thanks for making us a part of the celebrations.
